The Curriculum developed by us is of purely international standard and is supported by Dr schuss and his books plus Timelife books from ETL are the major resource material used by us and also they will be used as teaching aids.
It is a unique blend of traditional play way methods and modern technology ,the
curriculum is very different from other counterparts and will shape the personality of the child in terms of values skills analytical knowledge visual perception with interactive tools’. The curriculum will focus on the holistic development through activities facilitating cognitive emotional, social and physical development.
It will focus on hands on experience for children along with field trips, special days,
culminating activities and learning through exploration.

Our mother toddler program again is designed to help the young mothers
understand their child’s needs of socialisation and help them develop their skills while
playing.
It ensures that the mother also participates with the child as then the child feels
more relaxed.
Mother toddler program also paves way for future clients for the preschool, since
every child from mother toddler would secure admission in the playschool, provided it has been a happy experience for the parent.
What a curriculum should be like:
A curriculum in the ideal sense should allow the children to blossom and give way
for their freedom to expression. It should not only lay down the guidelines about what the children need to learn but should be able to create an ideal environment to facilitate learning.
All this can happen if the curriculum is developed keeping in mind the way children
learn rather than what they should be taught and what they should not be taught.
Theo kids curriculum which caters to the age group 1 to 6 years, has been
developed based on the principles of child development and Piaget’s theory of
Intellectual development.
The curriculum’s for different age groups are as follows:
- Smart Toddler-1 to 2 years of age- Mother Toddler Curriculum Sapling (SAP)-2 to 4 years of age- Play school and Nursery curriculum
- Arise-4 to 6 years of age- Lower kg and Upper kg curriculum
- Daycare Curriculum in 4 age groups- 1 to 2 years/ 2- 4 / 4-7/ 7-10
How Does the Curriculum Progress:
The curriculum is for 180 days considering the fact that every school celebrates
every festival along with holidays. Also we leave a buffer of 20 to 30 days so that the teachers are able to cover the portion easily and ensure that the child’s conceptual knowledge is intact before he or she enters formal schooling (1st Std)
Each topic or theme for the month takes care of Language,Number,Social- emotional, Creative and cognitive (Concepts) skill. Apart from that, our curriculum
includes suggestions for story books which are to be used by the teachers to enhance the moral development (Behavioral Attributes)
For every topic that is to be taught, or for any creative or social activity the aim is
mentioned along with the objective and materials required. Then there is a procedure to enable the teacher to understand how she is supposed to teach the same in the class, which are the new words that the children will be learning, sight words to be made to enable reading skills.
An assessment sheet is provided to the teachers to keep a track of the
development of the children in their classroom, this helps then to fill up the progress report in turn.
List of all poems and activity sheets are given at the end of every theme so that
the teachers can use the same.
Framed our curriculum in such a way that it is not dependent on toys or aids solely
since we also aim to cater to schools who cannot afford quality equipments. We provide training to the teacher to make their own teaching aids from scrap paper and other waste materials .

Emotional and Behavioral Skills – Interact with other children and adults, Look

Our curriculum is based on the following strengths:
Amalgamation of teaching methods viz- multiple intelligence approach, Play way
method and Inquiry learning method where each child is allowed to bloom and
learn in a carefree environment.
A completed balanced approach is followed so that there is neither too much of
passive play nor too much of active play
Rhymes and songs are mentioned along with a nursery rhyme CD for the teacher
to get familiar to the tune. Computerised worksheets are provided for every topic/
concept being taught to the children in the class. These worksheets can be
compiled in to a book format for each level.
Our Curriculum is based on the hands – on – approach so it includes loads of
creative activities which are to be done with the children which in turn helps to
develop their fine and gross motor skills and thus reduces the need to perform
paper pencil task as their skills are being developed in a way that they enjoy

aids will be made by the teachers along with the flannel board decoration. It
provides a complete detail of the material to be used and the way it is to be used
by the teacher. A pre primary classroom should always be full of activities and
creative flannel boards as per the theme for creative development of the child
and also to raise the curiosity levels in a child , thus helping them to learn by
questioning – inquiry learning
Our curriculum includes science experiments and value education topics on
an on going basis as we believe that the child’s interest at this age can be tapped
not only to make them aware of their surroundings but also to mould their
character as the main aim of education is learning through action and evolving of
good character
It consists of list if books that would be required as per the theme which can be
procured through us or directly from the publishing house as mentioned in the
curriculum
Includes list of celebrations, festivals, student stationery and teacher stationery
list so that the teacher is prepared in advance about how to go about conducting
the activity. Celebrations are an important part of the curriculum as it states how a festival is
celebrated and why.
Theo kids curriculum takes care of the festival celebrations and provides a
separate list about how each festival needs to be celebrated with the right
activity.
Parent involvement is equally essential as it helps the parent to know about the
on goings in the school and at the same time helps to feel secure about their
child and his environment in which he is exposed to. Theo Kids includes activities
in its curriculum which requires parent involvement in a way that it leads to the
holistic development of the child and at the same time helps the parent to interact
with each other and maintain an open communication with the teachers. This
helps in building the trust of the parent, and thus gain their confidence in the
school.
Assessment is the most important element of any curriculum. A teacher needs to
check the learning in the class n order to understand if the teaching is successful.
A separate assessment tool is provided along with the curriculum , which is
based on the curriculum to help the teachers to record the progress of each child
and thus maintain their track record
Report card or progress report is provided along with the curriculum since the
progress report needs to be based on what is being taught
Toys and teaching aids which are an integral part of every pre school are also
provided along with the curriculum at an extra cost
We also provide 6 months Government recognized online teacher training
program in Early Childhood Education for teachers which helps the teacher to get
trained by us and at the same time get a certificate in E.C.E approved by the
Government. This course is available at a discounted fee to the teachers of the
school in which theokids curriculum is implemented.
Teacher training workshop CD will be given to help enhance the skills of the
teachers as we believe that the success of any pre school depends on the
curriculum and the teachers. So professional development of teachers is equally
